December 12th Update: Today, ESPN salary expert and former NBA team executive Bobby Marks discussed the realistic scenario of the Lakers selecting LeBron James's eldest son, Bronny, on a television program.
"Now, the interesting thing is, what happens when we get into the twenties...of course, the first thing we look at is what the Lakers will do. Remember, the Pelicans have the Lakers' first-round pick, but they can defer it to get the 2025 first-round pick. So, if that pick is around 23rd or 24th, and the Lakers have that pick, will they select Bronny James to team up with his dad?" Marks said.
