Against England Women, on the second morning of the four-day, one-off Test match, India Women added eighteen runs to their overnight total before losing the final three wickets and ending their innings at 428 all out in 104.3 overs. The Indian women beat England at Blackpool in 1986, setting a new record of 426/9d, to record their second-highest score ever. The hosts had aimed to frustrate England further by forcing them to field for at least an hour, at least, and reaching the psychological target of 450, having started at the overnight score of 410/7.
