Former Australia wicketkeeper Ian Healy stated that David Warner can play Test cricket for another year if he maintains the dominant form he showed against Pakistan in the recently concluded first Test in Perth. The 37-year-old is playing his final series before he is expected to say goodbye to the longest format of the game following the third Test in Sydney, which will take place on his home ground. In the opening Test, Australia defeated Pakistan by 360 runs, and the 37-year-old scored a match-winning 164 off 211 balls in the first innings.
