On December 15, following a draw with Rizespor, Ankara Gucu's club president, Faruk Koca, rushed onto the field with a group of people. After the referee Halil Umut Meler blew the final whistle, Koca punched the referee.
The Turkish Football Federation Disciplinary Committee has also ordered the suspension of all Ankara Gucu matches in the Turkish league until December 19 and imposed a fine of €60,000 (USD 66,000). Koca has been banned for life from participating in football matches by the Turkish Football Association. |
