41-year-old Swiss tennis legend Roger Federer posted a lengthy message on his personal social media page, announcing his retirement after his own event, the Laver Cup, comes to an end.

Looking back on his illustrious 24-year professional career, Federer reached the Grand Slam final 31 times, achieving a remarkable record of 20 wins and 11 losses. On the Grand Slam stage, he secured a total of 369 victories, placing him at the top of the historical rankings.
