Trying to stop them, they will do it in worse ways. High fees drive the adoption of Layer2 and promote innovation. So, relax and develop." According to a January report by Odaily, a protocol called "Ordinals" for NFTs was launched on the Bitcoin mainnet, leading to disagreements within the crypto community about its benefits to the Bitcoin ecosystem. The protocol, created by software engineer Casey Rodarmor, faced dissatisfaction from Blockstream CEO and Bitcoin core developer Adam Back, who suggested developers take "stupidity" elsewhere if Bitcoin is introduced to meme culture.
