Subtitle: Unveiling the Tactics of a MIT Card Counting Team and their Success in Accumulating Over $15 Million

In the past year, reports surfaced about a card counting team composed of mathematical geniuses from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (MIT). Led by MIT alumni, this underground team trained new members in the art of card counting. Upon mastering the skills, the team provided the members with gambling funds, and winnings were split either in a 70-30 or 60-40 ratio. Over the past decade, they managed to amass approximately $15 million through their gambling endeavors.

The founder of this underground society is John Zhang, a former MIT student also known as "ABC" (American-born Chinese). John Zhang has achieved a legendary status as a gambling master, even being inducted into the Blackjack Hall of Fame. Due to being on casino blacklists, John often disguises himself as a woman to enter casinos. The individuals recruited into this team are all mathematical prodigies.

One notable member, known as the "Taiwan Gambling God," Dai Zilang, annually allocates $100,000 as his gambling capital. He frequents Las Vegas for a week of high-stakes play, focusing exclusively on the game of Blackjack.

The Gambling God's Strategies:
1. Each night at the casino, carry a predetermined gambling fund, such as $20,000 or $30,000, without any last-minute additions.
2. Divide the gambling sessions into sets of three rounds. For example, with a starting fund of $20,000, the first round involves betting $200. If the first round is a loss, the second round continues with a $200 bet. If the second round is also a loss, the third round maintains a $200 bet. If the third round is a loss, the same method is applied to start the second set. If the first round is a win, combine the initial winnings with a $200 bet for the second round. If the second round is a win, continue with an $800 bet, and so on. The objective is to maintain a consistent betting strategy regardless of winning or losing in each round.
3. Never hit if the hand total is 12 or higher.
4. Do not split 10s, Js, Qs, Ks, or As. However, always split a pair of Aces.
5. Regardless of the duration of play, take a break when the win or loss reaches 50% of the planned capital. If this limit is not reached within the specified time, exit the game forcefully.

These seemingly simple tactics, employed by the "Gambling God," have allowed him to consistently win tens of thousands (sometimes even hundreds of thousands) of dollars annually for over a decade. In 1996, he earned the title of "Runner-Up" in practical combat in Las Vegas. In recognition of his frequent visits, the casino always reserves a complimentary "presidential suite" for him.

The "Gambling God" emphasizes that people in the casino engage in various mentalities – some seek windfall profits, some play for entertainment, and some test their luck. He, on the other hand, sees gambling as a job. His words may sound humbling, but they hold truth.

As the "Gambling God" wisely notes: Most people entering a casino have experienced winning money. The reason why many end up losing is that they don't know when to stop.

Additionally, an intriguing incident from March 2004 involves three Eastern European individuals using a James Bond-style laser scanner during a game of Russian roulette at the Ritz Casino in London. This high-tech cheating method allowed them to win a total of £1.3 million in just two nights. Despite the casino's suspicions, the authorities could not find evidence of illegal activity, and the case ended with the trio being released without charges.
