I know you've been tired lately, but can you hold on a little longer? I don't know why, but the exhaustion of adults is no longer like the tiredness from playing as a child, nor is it the kind of fatigue from staying up late studying during student days. It's a persistent state, impacting the deepest layers of the spirit, accompanied by a heavy sense of powerlessness. Sometimes, you might even find yourself wondering how you ended up living like this.
Growing up brings more responsibilities and less laughter. When you yearn for personal space, sometimes all you have is the park or the balcony. The exhaled smoke becomes a redemption of the spirit and a liberation of the body.
Often, I feel that life is like spinach – unpredictable in wins and losses. Life is the same, but we can control the bets we place on the table and the decisions we make. There are ups and downs, just like in life. There are times when everything goes smoothly, and there are times when you find yourself in a low point. But grit your teeth, endure, and it will pass.
Some people spend their whole lives not understanding life, just as some never learn to play spinach. Let's hope that we are the ones who can navigate both life and its challenges. When times are tough, let's pat ourselves on the back and tell ourselves to keep going. |
