India has been fined 10% of their match fee and penalized two ICC World Test Championship points for a slow over-rate against South Africa in the first Test. The sanction was imposed by match referee Chris Broad, as India was two overs short of the target after time allowances. India's captain, Rohit Sharma, admitted guilt, accepted the sanction, and no formal hearing was necessary. Umpires Paul Reiffel, Langton Rusere, Ahsan Raza, and Stephen Harris issued the charge.

Don't worry, everyone. We have a 5-match Test series against England at home. We're aiming for a 5-0 victory. Go Team India!

This makes me doubt if India can qualify for the World Test Championship final. Under Dravid's coaching, the current Indian test team is progressively declining...

Rohit admitted guilt? Not a good sign. Address issues, India!

Absolutely absurd. I think no team should face penalties unless the test ends in a draw.
