Shaheen Shah Afridi may have experienced mixed feelings on Wednesday as he observed his pace counterpart Pat Cummins deliver his most recent Test bowling masterclass, aside from relief at not having to deal with the barrage of bouncers aimed at the heads of Pakistan's lower-order. After winning player of the match at the MCG last week, Cummins grabbed his third straight five-for on the opening day of the SCG Test, leaving Pakistan hanging at 9-227 until Aamir Jamal's 82nd-minute heroics lifted the visitors to a competitive 313 runs.
