India's dismal home record in One-Day Internationals (ODIs) versus Australia has persisted, as their current losing streak to the world champions has reached nine games. Over the course of a lengthy home season, captain Harmanpreet Kaur has led her team admirably and achieved a few historic Test results, but she has also struggled at the bat. Only three times in eight innings across all formats this season has she scored more than ten runs, her best being 49 against England in the lone Test last month. Kaur was out for a duck in India's first innings of the historic victory over Australia in the one-off Test, and she was not needed to bat in the second essay.
