Earlier, after limiting South Africa to 55 runs in the last session, India collapsed to 153 all out in their first innings. With 46, Virat Kohli was the highest scoring player, followed by captain Rohit Sharma with 39 and Shubman Gill with 36. India had only 34.5 overs to bat. At 111 for 4, they had recommenced the after-tea session.
