December 31st News: Today, the Lakers lost 106-108 to the Timberwolves on the road. After the game, Lakers forward LeBron James was interviewed.
When asked about how the team accepted the ruling that his critical three-pointer was deemed a two-pointer, James said, "There were five or six games like this last season. When they bring out the referee report for the last two minutes, don't make yourself look stupid."
When asked if the lead referee Tony Brothers gave him an explanation about the decision, James said, "Tony Brother didn't explain. But I didn't talk to him; I talked to another referee. They said it was out of their control, someone from the replay center, someone eating a ham sandwich over there, made the decision."
In this game, James played for 39 minutes, made 10 out of 21 shots, scored 26 points, grabbed 3 rebounds, and had 6 assists. |
