December 31st News: Today, the Lakers lost 106-108 to the Timberwolves on the road. After the game, Lakers forward Anthony Davis was interviewed.
When asked whether his personal performance, whether good or bad, affected the feeling of losing, Davis said, "Anytime you lose, whether I played well or not, it's frustrating. You think about certain possessions, especially right now, I'm thinking about missing two crucial free throws, and we lost by 2 points. So that would have tied the score and maybe changed the course of the game in overtime. Anytime you lose, you look back and think about where you could have been better, both as a team and individually. The first thing that comes to my mind is those two free throws, which is very rare for me to miss both. But as you review the game, you see how you can improve. Especially with another game tomorrow."
In this game, Davis played for 39 minutes, made 12 out of 17 shots, scored 33 points, grabbed 17 rebounds, had 8 assists, and made 4 steals.
