Competitors The International Cricket Council (ICC) announced on Friday that co-hosts United States and Canada will play their opening match in the Twenty20 World Cup, while India and Pakistan will play their group match in New York on June 9. The United States and the West Indies will co-host the ninth T20 World Cup, which begins on June 1 and ends in Dallas with a match between the United States and Canada. An eight-match modular stadium with 34,000 seats will host the India vs. Pakistan match.
