Golden Finance reports that several institutions, including the Cloud Computing and Big Data Research Institute of the Academy of Information and Communications Technology, the Chinese Intelligent Computing Power Industry Alliance, and the Artificial Intelligence Computing Power Industry Ecology Alliance, have jointly released the "White Paper on the New Generation of Artificial Intelligence Infrastructure" (hereinafter referred to as the "White Paper"). The "White Paper" clearly defines the "new generation of AI (Artificial Intelligence) infrastructure," outlining its characteristics, values, and introducing the "evaluation system for the new generation of AI infrastructure" for the first time. Data indicates that over the past four years, the parameter volume of large models has grown at a compounded annual rate of 400%, and the demand for AI computing power has increased by over 150,000 times. Traditional computing infrastructure centered around the CPU (Central Processing Unit) can no longer meet the new requirements of large models and generative AI. The "White Paper" defines the new generation of AI infrastructure as a core platform with large model capabilities, integrating computing resources, data services, and cloud services, specifically designed to maximize the performance of large models and generative AI applications. |
