According to Cyvers Alerts monitoring, Coinspaid has experienced multiple unauthorized transactions, with hackers stealing over $6.1 million worth of cryptocurrency assets. The stolen assets include 4.8 million USDT, 500 ETH, 97 million CPD, and 10.6 thousand USDC. All CPD has been exchanged for ETH, and the remaining assets were transferred to different EOA addresses. Some of the stolen assets were also deposited into various trading platforms such as MEXC, WhiteBIT, ChangeNOW, and others.
As previously reported by BlockBeats, Coinspaid appears to have encountered another security incident. The associated hot wallet witnessed a suspicious outflow of $6.1 million. Due to this incident, withdrawal services for some of their customers, like Hypedrop, were not being processed. So far, the stolen funds have been laundered through several trading platforms, including Whitebit, HitBTC, ChangeNow, N Exchange, etc. In July 2023, CoinsPaid/Alphapo suffered a cyber attack by North Korean hackers, resulting in a loss of $70 million. |
