Beckenbauer was born in Munich in 1945. During his 13 years with Bayern Munich, he contributed 74 goals in 582 appearances for the team. He helped Bayern Munich win 3 UEFA Champions League titles, 2 Intercontinental Cups, 4 Bundesliga titles, 4 DFB-Pokal titles, and 1 UEFA Cup.
At the national team level, Beckenbauer participated in 3 World Cups and 2 European Championships. He played a crucial role in the team's victories in the 1972 European Championship and the 1974 World Cup. In terms of personal achievements, he scored 14 goals in 103 appearances for the national team.
