In the midst of discussions about Twenty20 cricket taking precedence over Test cricket in South Africa, daring batsman Heinrich Klaasen has declared his retirement from the game's longest format. Klaasen wasn't a regular in the red ball setup, despite being one of South Africa's top run scorers in the ODI World Cup last year. "I have made the decision to retire from red-ball cricket after a few restless nights wondering if I am making the right choice. Since that is by far my favorite game format, I had to make a difficult decision," he said in a statement.
