News on January 8th: The Lakers defeated the Clippers 106-103 in the game. After the match, Lakers player Anthony Davis was interviewed.
Davis said, "Obviously, for us, getting back on the winning track is crucial. We need to learn from this and build on it, continue to make progress in the wave of victories."
Talking about defending Paul George in the final stages of the game, he said, "He's a phenomenal player. My job is to stay in front of him and make it difficult for him. I can easily defend any player in the league; I have proven that I can defend from the one to the five positions."
Davis continued, "I don't care about myself; I only care about winning."
In this game, Davis played for 39 minutes as a starter, making 10 shots out of 15, contributing 22 points, 10 rebounds, 1 assist, 3 steals, and 1 block. |
