According to a report published by Elko Daily, a recent incident occurred at a top entertainment and gaming venue in Nevada, the Cactus Pete's Resort Casino, where a visitor was arrested by the police for alleged domestic violence and threatening law enforcement. The arrested individual, identified by the initials R.J.C., is a 41-year-old man from Idaho. It is reported that when law enforcement approached him, he brandished a weapon. The arrest took place on January 6, conducted by a representative from the Elko County Sheriff's Office.
The incident at Cactus Pete's Resort Casino was related to an event involving a phone call, where a distressed woman sought medical assistance. Police were dispatched to the casino and spoke with a visibly anxious woman. During contact with the woman, who claimed to be the victim, law enforcement learned that she had been threatened by a 41-year-old suspect.
The woman alleged that if the suspect couldn't find her in their room, he would harm her. Simultaneously, the unnamed woman stated that she had been assaulted, with the recent injuries reportedly caused by the individual subsequently detained.
After collecting the woman's statement, authorities noticed a bruise that "appeared to be recent," prompting representatives from the Elko County Sheriff's Office to begin searching for the suspect.
The suspect has been arrested on multiple charges. |
