Satoshi Nakamoto's actions? Another mysterious transaction has occurred on the Bitcoin network.
Recently, there have been several mysterious and widely discussed transactions on the Bitcoin blockchain. One of these occurred on the 6th when an address starting with bc1q9 transferred 27 bitcoins to Satoshi Nakamoto's address, valued at a staggering $1.174 million. This sparked heated discussions within the community regarding whether Satoshi Nakamoto is "awakening."
The mystery continued on the 7th when another address starting with bc1pn wrote about 8.93MB of encrypted data into the Bitcoin blockchain through 332 script transactions. These transactions included single fees reaching thousands of dollars, with the majority around $200. The total cost was approximately 1.5 BTC, equivalent to $66,000.
Community speculations about motives:
Due to the encrypted nature of the data, no one has been able to interpret the engraved content. This has led to widespread speculation and curiosity within the crypto community, as the motives and content behind these mysterious actions remain unclear.
Regarding the motivation for writing data into the Bitcoin blockchain, some users responded: "I've been saying for months, once ZF's secrets are written into Bitcoin, there will be no way to audit or delete them." This viewpoint suggests that Ordinals can be used to permanently store sensitive information, avoiding censorship or deletion. Note: Ordinals, introduced by software engineer Casey Rodarmor in January 2023, allow users to engrave images, text, audio, and other content onto the smallest unit of Bitcoin, Satoshis (sats), effectively managing the data.
Some users speculate that this data may intentionally be encrypted and will be unlocked at a specific time in the future, possibly signaling a planned action.
Possible involvement of Satoshi Nakamoto:
Regarding speculation about who executed these transactions, some users link them to the transaction where funds were deposited into Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet the previous day, directly speculating that this is an act of the supposed "Satoshi Nakamoto." However, community members point out that the deposit itself does not reveal much since anyone can deposit funds into Satoshi Nakamoto's wallet, and only withdrawal authority can indicate identity.
Additionally, some users propose an alternative viewpoint, suggesting that the person executing the transactions may be connected to a specific mining pool to ensure the smooth writing of data into the blockchain. As for the content of the messages, users have provided their decryption results, containing words related to population, parameters, society, etc. This leads to speculation that it might be related to monitoring data from ZF, but further decryption is needed due to the extensive content of 332 transactions.
This event reflects a growing trend of utilizing the Bitcoin blockchain for purposes beyond simple financial transactions. Ordinals enable the direct embedding of large amounts of data into the Bitcoin blockchain, opening new possibilities for data storage and transmission. However, it has also sparked discussions about the appropriateness and potential consequences of such actions in terms of blockchain efficiency and purpose. |
