On December 29, 2023, renowned director Stephen Chow, OKX Ventures partner Jeff Ren, Nobody NFT platform co-founder Jacky, and Memeland CEO Ray Chan from the internationally acclaimed comedy community 9GAG held a valuable discussion in Hong Kong's Central district. The topics ranged from the integration of Web3, AI, and film and entertainment.

During the discussion, Stephen Chow expressed, "I firmly believe that good creativity comes from the grassroots, and I am eager to discover experts from various fields, giving them the opportunity to fully showcase their talents. Therefore, I have provided the Web3 collaborative platform, Nobody, to all of you, hoping that everyone will actively contribute various ideas. Taking the collaborative creation of plotlines in 'The Mermaid 2' as an example, I hope that good scenes can emerge from the Nobody community, and I will consider incorporating these scenes into the film."

This marks Stephen Chow's first public statement since venturing into the Web3+AI domain. As the inaugural creator for the NFT platform Nobody (formerly Moonbox), Stephen Chow has constructed a grand worldview for Nobody NFT.

Jeff Ren, partner at OKX Ventures and an investor in Nobody, expressed excitement about the growth and transformation of the traditional film industry in the internet era. He highlighted how internet companies are innovating the film industry through streaming, big data, and deep involvement through investments. He sees Web3, with blockchain technology, empowering the film industry even further. Through forms like NFTs and DAOs, Web3 allows direct interaction between the audience and creators, fostering more creativity in film production and potentially transforming movie characters into NFTs to increase audience engagement and immersion.

"Nobody NFT's design adheres to the community spirit defined by Stephen Chow that small individuals can achieve great things. We encourage people not to be limited by societal labels such as identity and status. Regardless of the role you play in society, as long as you are willing to strive, you can shine in your own field," revealed Jacky, co-founder of the Nobody platform, during the discussion, mentioning that the NFT collection might go on sale on February 1.

It's worth noting that Nobody NFT is the first collection on the Nobody platform, formerly known as Moonbox. OKX Ventures had previously announced a $1 million investment in Nobody to support its innovations.

"As a leading global Web3 company, OKX has always hoped that Web3 can empower more scenarios. We were very excited when we noticed Stephen Chow's message on INS searching for web3 enthusiasts. We look forward to seeing Mr. Stephen Chow's involvement in the design of the Nobody platform, hoping that more creators can empower their creative careers through such disruptive products," added Jeff.

In recent years, OKX has actively explored the cross-industry integration of Web3 with sports and entertainment. They have collaborated with top teams such as English Premier League champions Manchester City, McLaren F1 team, and the Tribeca Film Festival, aiming to bring the new Web3 experience to users worldwide. Stephen Chow, as a legendary film star and director with hundreds of millions of fans in Asia and globally, is expected to be an ideal partner for OKX. The Nobody platform could become a crucial link in their collaboration.
