Companies applying for the issuance of Bitcoin ETFs are competing to lower their fees, with at least four companies having already reduced their rates. According to the latest documents submitted to the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission, VanEck, Bitwise, Valkyrie, and WisdomTree have all lowered their fees in their applications for spot Bitcoin ETFs. Bitwise, originally with a final fee of 24 basis points, has reduced its fee to just 20 basis points, according to Tuesday's filings. Similar to Bitwise, VanEck offers an initial discount with zero fees for the first six months or until the fund reaches a certain asset threshold. Afterward, the fee is 39 basis points, compared to the previously applied 59 basis points. Valkyrie's fee has dropped from 0.80% in the previous application to 0.49%, and WisdomTree has reduced its fee from 0.50% to 0.30%. |
