According to Foot Mercato on January 20th, Riyadh Victory has reached an agreement with Dhamman for the loan of midfielder Seko Fofana and is looking to sign Manchester United midfielder Casemiro to replace his position after leaving the team.

Fofana is currently representing Ivory Coast in the Africa Cup of Nations. Due to Riyadh Victory's need to resolve the registration issue for eight foreign players in the team, they had to let go of one foreign player. Therefore, they are open to Fofana's departure.

Reportedly, Riyadh Victory, following Cristiano Ronaldo's advice, has decided to sign Casemiro, and Casemiro himself is reportedly interested in the move. Riyadh Victory and Dhamman have reached a verbal agreement on the loan of Fofana for six months, with no option to buy.

After Henderson's departure from the team, Dhamman needs to strengthen their midfield. Fofana transferred to Riyadh from Lorient last summer for a reported fee of around €20 million.

Cristiano Ronaldo's judgment is unlikely to be wrong.
