In the second innings of the Hyderabad Test match against England, Team India had a difficult task ahead of them: they had to chase a difficult 231 on a turning wicket. The most prolific tormentor, Ollie Pope, finished with an impressive 196. The Indian bowlers were frustrated by the combined 62 runs scored by Tom Hartley and Rehan Ahmed. Rohit Sharma showed promise when India batted, but Yashasvi Jaiswal, who is usually aggressive, unexpectedly took a defensive posture and managed just 15 off 35 balls. Shubman Gill's performance was dreadful as well, lasting just two deliveries. Tom Hartley scored two runs, including the vital 39-run wicket of Rohit.
