As Day 3 was coming to an end, Shamar Joseph started crying. He was aware that he wouldn't be able to score significant runs the way he had on his Test debut in Adelaide. This was the result of a fast Mitchell Starc yorker. Joseph was forced to retire outside after it struck him square in the toe. At 193, West Indies was bowled out. Australia needed to win the series by a score of 216. For a Day/Night Test, it was not a bad total to defend in the fourth innings. But not when your best bowler is virtually guaranteed to not deliver an over.
