Shubman Gill as well as Deepti Sharma won the Polly Umrigar Award from the BCCI for being India's best men's and women's international cricketers respectively during the 2022-23 season
The BCCI has also announced Naman award for 2019-20,2020-21 and 2022-23 seasons
Deepti Sharma has been announced a the best women's international cricketer for the 2019-20 season. While Smriti Mandhana has acclaimed this award for 2020-21 and 2021-22 season in women category
Jaspreet Bumara was declared best international player for 2021-22 season ,Ravichandran Aswin for 2020-21 season and Mohammed Shami for 2019-20 season
Jaspreet Bumara became the first to win this award twice
Ravi Shastri and Farokh Engineer got the Col. C.K. Nayudu lifetime achievement awards
After getting award Ravi Shastri said
"It's been four decades in the game where you have not missed the beat. And you have been involved with Indian cricket right through. It's a very touching moment for me, because when I started my cricket at the age of 17 and I finished at 30 as a player, BCCI were my guardians right through"
Rohan Pandit has been declared the best umpire for the 2022-23 season, A Padmanabhan (2019-20), Vrinda Rathi (2020-21) and Jayaram Madan Gopal (2021-22)
Mumbai got the award for the best performance in domestic tournaments (2019-20)season as well as Madhya Pradesh for 2020-21 season and Saurashtra For 2022-23 .
