Brisbane Heat won their second BBL trophy after 11 years. They beat Sydney Sixers by 54 runs at the SCG on Wednesday (January 24). Spencer Johnson took four wickets and bowled very well. Josh Brown (53) and Matt Renshaw (40) scored a lot of runs and helped Heat get a big score. Nathan McSweeney (33) and Max Bryant (29) also played well. The SCG pitch was not very fast. Heat did not lose many wickets at the start and Brown and McSweeney added 85 runs. But they both got out soon after. Renshaw and Bryant scored 57 runs quickly and used the power surge well.
