The former skipper of South Africa, AB de Villiers, praised Pakistan’s Babar Azam for his batting skills. The gesture came after Babar Azam chose him as his ideal batting partner. Babar Azam revealed this while he was chatting with his fans on X. The ex-captain of Pakistan was live on the social media site where he responded to the fans’ queries. One of the fans wanted to know the batsman he would love to bat with. Babar Azam promptly picked AB de Villiers, calling him his dream batting partner. Babar Azam did play with AB de Villiers but never got the opportunity to bat with him. Besides playing in international cricket, Babar Azam and AB de Villiers faced each other in the Pakistan Super League (PSL) as well. After Babar Azam named AB de Villiers as his dream batting partner, the South African legend took to X to acknowledge the praise. The retired cricketer said that he would have also enjoyed batting with Babar Azam.
