News on January 28th: Today, the Lakers narrowly defeated the Warriors 145-144 in double overtime, securing a two-game winning streak.
In this game, Lakers forward LeBron James played for 48 minutes, made 14 out of 25 field goals, and scored 36 points, 20 rebounds, and 12 assists. Warriors guard Stephen Curry played for 43 minutes, made 17 out of 35 field goals, and scored 46 points, 3 rebounds, and 7 assists.
According to ESPN statistics, this is the first occurrence in NBA history where two opponents aged 35 or older both scored 35+ points in the same game.
