Hey guys, I just watched an interview of Rishabh Pant on Star Sports where he opened up about his struggles with being compared to MS Dhoni. He said that he used to get very upset and cry in his room when he was 20-21 years old. He said that he felt a lot of pressure and stress and didn't know how to handle it. He remembered one incident where he missed a stumping in Mohali and the crowd started chanting 'Dhoni Dhoni'. He said that it was very unfair to compare him with Dhoni who had played 500 matches and had such a long and successful career. He also talked about his bond with Dhoni and how he considers him as his mentor and friend. He said that he can talk to Dhoni about anything and everything and that he has learned a lot from him. He said that he has a special relationship with Dhoni that he doesn't have with anyone else. He also said that he respects Dhoni a lot and that he never understood why people expected him to replace Dhoni when he was just starting his career.
