News on January 30th: Rockets guard Cam Whitmore was interviewed after today's training.
Whitmore wasn't initially a fan of LeBron James. What initially attracted him was the 2012 Thunder, mainly Kevin Durant, James Harden, and most importantly, Russell Westbrook. However, Whitmore said that it didn't take long for him to start appreciating James. He estimates that it probably started from the first time he opened his eyes.
"To be honest, I've been watching him play since I came out of the womb. I've been waiting for 19 years, just to get into the league, waiting to see these... superstars. I can't wait (to face LeBron). I want everything that comes with it. The way he plays is still like someone of my age," Whitmore said. |
