Meta, the parent company of Facebook, has established its regional headquarters in Dubai. The office was inaugurated by Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince and Chairman of the Executive Council of Dubai.
Dubai will continue to strengthen its partnerships with major international technology companies to shape the future, Sheikh Hamdan expressed in a series of tweets. It is understood that the company will manage its regional operations in the Middle East and North Africa from Dubai, providing support to over 3 billion users globally. Dubai's infrastructure and business environment have made the emirate a hub for major technology companies. Currently, Dubai Internet City has 95,000 employees working and living in Dubai, Sheikh Hamdan said. |
