February 15th News: According to ESPN, sources revealed that in the 24 hours leading up to last Thursday's trade deadline, there were discussions at the ownership level attempting to convince the Lakers and LeBron James to consider a trade that would pair James with long-time rival Stephen Curry, but these attempts were unsuccessful.
In response, former NBA player Danny Green said, "I don't think the Lakers would trade LeBron James, but if they were to do so, they would demand you to package the entire team. The Lakers would want you to include Curry, Klay, and Draymond. I don't think such a trade would make sense for either side." |
