An AI model that can predict a person's life expectancy and estimate their lifetime earnings with an accuracy rate of up to 78%!

Nowadays, with the rapid development of AI, most people rely on AI for various tasks in their lives, such as drawing and chatting with AI. But today, there's a new AI model that's quite different! It can actually predict life and death! This AI model not only predicts a person's life expectancy but also estimates how much money they will earn in their lifetime, with an accuracy rate of up to 78%!

The AI model mentioned above is a recent development by scientists from Denmark and the United States called "life2vec." This model is said to be able to predict life and death and estimate lifetime earnings by analyzing a person's life story. However, despite the apparent astonishment of this technology, scientists emphasize that it will not be made available to the public for now, and if it is opened up in the future, it will be subject to legal regulations.

The operation principle of "life2vec" is similar to that of a chatbot. By analyzing a large amount of real-life data on income, occupation, place of residence, pregnancy status, etc., the model can predict future events. The research team trained the model with data from 2008 to 2016, but the applicability in other regions remains to be verified, as pointed out by the chief researcher, Sune Lehmann.

You can ask ChatGPT to write a song, poem, or article, and scientists can ask life2vec simple questions like "Will I die within 4 years?" However, the ethical issues raised by this technology cannot be ignored. The ability to predict individual life and wealth involves various aspects such as personal privacy, autonomy, and social justice. Despite achieving an accuracy rate of 78%, life is full of variables, and whether simplifying it into data and algorithmic outputs is in line with the complexity and diversity of human life is still a question worth pondering.

Danish scientists also emphasize the necessity of legal regulations. Lehmann protects the personal data of users by not opening it up to the public or companies. Even if it is eventually developed, Denmark will enact strict laws and regulations to prevent misuse and improper use. Lehmann states that, for example, it is illegal to involve AI in insurance policy formulation or recruitment decisions.

Lehmann mentioned that in reality, most people do not want to know when they will die. It is reported that technology companies internally have begun to use technology to predict life events and human behavior, but they believe that this technology needs more discussion before the team decides where to take the technology and what they want from it.

Shouldn't we develop a specialized AI for predicting lottery numbers? That's what everyone needs.
