Today, I spent most of my workday slacking off. Although I typically use work hours to write and take short breaks, today's slacking off was on a whole new level. Due to a lack of tasks, I found myself watching music variety shows all afternoon. However, I couldn't help but notice that these shows didn't seem as enjoyable as before. It seems that with more and more seasons, variety shows tend to lose their initial charm, and perhaps it's because everyone is experiencing aesthetic fatigue.
Speaking of slacking off, I believe that it's essential to take short breaks during work hours. Humans aren't machines, and even if you have an iron will, continuous intense work can lead to fatigue. Taking short breaks is a way to prepare for the future when you might not have the luxury to slack off. Seize the opportunity to slack off now, as there may come a time when you won't have the chance.
Slacking off can be a civilized way to maintain work-life balance and increase overall work efficiency if used wisely. |
