On February 24th, in today's NBA regular season game, the Warriors defeated the Hornets 97-84, and there was a conflict between the two teams in garbage time.
After the game, Dream said, "There were only 2 seconds left in that play, are we supposed to just turn the ball over and add another pointless mistake to our count? We've already had enough turnovers in this game. Besides, there were still 22 seconds left after the shot, so why are you guys upset? Our star players were already on the bench, the game was over, so you should go sit down too, but you didn't."
"So if you want to keep playing, then let's keep playing. Don't suddenly realize the game is over with 22 seconds left. We made substitutions at 2 minutes and 45 seconds, if you want to play, play, but then to act like we can't score anymore because you suddenly think the game is over? I'm really annoyed with these people: 'Oh, why are you still scoring in garbage time?' Pray for Grant Williams, I have nothing else to say." |
