On February 24th, the Warriors defeated the Hornets 97-84.

After the game, Warriors player Kinnoues was interviewed by reporters.

Regarding the last-minute layup and the subsequent altercation between the two teams, Kinnoues said, "The reason I scored is because I heard Coach Kerr say 'Go up' and I saw there was still time on the clock. Coach Kerr said, 'Go, go, go.' Then the Hornets pressed hard on defense, so I just thought, go for the basket."

"Then the Hornets disrupted the ball and even pushed me. I thought to myself, 'Bro, this is basketball. If you care so much, you should play good defense and stop me.'"

I can't believe such statements are being made.

It's an unwritten rule in the NBA that the winning side doesn't attack on the last play.
