February 25th News: NBA legend Paul Pierce recently appeared on a podcast where he discussed the topic of Golden State Warriors player Klay Thompson recently coming off the bench.
"Oh, when I saw him (Klay Thompson) coming off the bench, it reminded me of Ray Allen back then. That year, we still had competitiveness, Avery Bradley was starting to emerge, and then Doc Rivers decided to bring Ray Allen off the bench, which of course was the best decision for the team," Pierce said.
"At the time, Doc (Rivers) said, 'Ray, you'll come off the bench.' And I think that's also the reason why Ray Allen left later. He went to Miami and won another championship," Pierce said.
