Binance announced the launch of Aevo's new coin mining activity on the 6th, and on the 7th, they introduced the innovative prediction platform Futures NEXT. This platform allows users to predict which tokens will be listed on Binance's U-based contracts. Participants who guess correctly stand a chance to win substantial rewards, including trading experience funds and futures trading fee rebate vouchers. In less than a day, the platform attracted participation from 2,671 users, with a total investment of 169,175 USDT, showcasing the enthusiasm of the community.
Participating in Futures NEXT is relatively straightforward. Users need to purchase 1 Pick at the price of 1 USDT, and then select tokens they believe might be listed in the NEXT Pool. Each user can pick up to 3 tokens, with a maximum of 100 Picks per token. Additionally, users have the option to nominate new tokens by paying 2,000 USDT, with a maximum of 3 tokens per nomination. These 2,000 USDT will be converted into 2000 Picks for the corresponding tokens after Binance's approval or fully refunded if not approved.
It's worth noting that there is a lock-up period for both participating in Picks and nominations. After picking, if Binance does not list the corresponding token, users can redeem Picks after a 3-day lock-up period, converting them back to USDT in the contract account. For Picks generated by nominations, there is an additional 30-day lock-up period. After this period, if Binance does not list the corresponding token, users can redeem Picks for USDT.
The launch of Futures NEXT sparked speculation among some community members, suggesting it might be a new listing method. However, Binance emphasized that the operation of Futures NEXT is entirely independent of Binance's token listing process. The platform's main goal is to reward users who accurately predict market trends, rather than directly influencing token listings. Although users can nominate and allocate Picks to supported tokens, Futures NEXT is not a voting system to determine listings. Therefore, the popularity of tokens on this platform does not guarantee their listing. |
