You know, Cathie Wood, the founder of ARK Invest, hailed as the "female stock guru," is someone with a far-sighted perspective on the future of Bitcoin. Last year, she repeatedly expressed optimism about Bitcoin, believing that by 2030, its price could soar to $1 million, which is 15 times the current value.
She views Bitcoin as digital gold and sees its substitution effect in action, a point that is beyond doubt. Furthermore, she states that large institutions in traditional markets will sooner or later realize the advantages of mainstream cryptocurrencies and start accepting them. She believes that by the year 2030, Bitcoin has the potential to surpass the $1 million price threshold. However, as Bitcoin continues to set new all-time highs, Wood reiterated her views on Bitcoin in an interview with The New Zealand Herald last week. She mentioned that the launch of spot ETFs signals wider acceptance and integration of Bitcoin into traditional financial systems, accelerating the timetable for Bitcoin's appreciation.
She is also optimistic, pointing out that many major banks in the current United States have yet to join the institutions promoting Bitcoin, implying that the full surge in Bitcoin's price has not fully initiated. Regarding her previous price predictions, Wood stated that with the evolving situation and increasing interest in spot ETFs, she believes ARK Invest's current predictions are too conservative. She even proposed a more aggressive figure, predicting that Bitcoin will reach $1.5 million by 2030. However, the recent price fluctuations of Bitcoin have indeed been quite drastic. Just last week, after reaching a new all-time high, Bitcoin experienced a sharp decline, resulting in the liquidation of many leveraged investors. |
