On March 7th, in the NBA regular season, the Warriors defeated the Bucks 125-90 at home. After the game, Warriors player Juan Toscano-Anderson was interviewed and talked about his experience defending Giannis Antetokounmpo in this game.
"He is a very outstanding player, and he is our defensive focus. Most of our team's defense is focused on him. I have never seen anyone play like him before," Toscano-Anderson said.
"As for myself, I have watched a lot of successful experiences, such as Blake Griffin's defense against him, which is to hold the position and observe his movements steadily. Obviously, timing and rhythm are also very important. In fact, I have watched many videos like this, and my agent and I often discuss how to defend players like him," Toscano-Anderson said.
In the entire game, Toscano-Anderson came off the bench for 19 minutes, shooting 7 for 8, making 1 of 2 free throws, scoring 15 points, grabbing 6 rebounds, 1 steal, and 4 blocks, including 3 blocks against Giannis Antetokounmpo. |
